Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. is seeking a Management Trainee to support store leadership and guest service while developing toward Store Manager responsibilities.

Trainees perform sales, merchandising and operational tasks, recruit and train teammates, and may act as Store Manager in the Manager's absence. You'll work with Store Manager on sales growth, leadership development, and daily store operations, including opening/closing, loss prevention, and guest relations, with access to full-time benefits after

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in relevant field preferred; or one to three months related retail experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in retail environment and customer service is beneficial.
• Ability to learn and apply Buckle policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude and provide legendary service.
• Assist Store Manager with coaching and counseling Teammates and participate in interviewing.
• Act as Store Manager in their absence and support leadership actions.
• Develop skills in recruiting, training, and supervising Teammates and drive sales.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant field

Retail experience (1-3 months or more)
