Job summary

Buckle in New Orleans is seeking a Management Trainee to advance the guest experience through leadership, sales excellence and operational leadership. The role develops skills in recruiting, training, merchandising, and store management under the guidance of the Store Manager.

Ideal candidates will be prepared for a fast-paced retail environment, with commitment to Buckle’s customer-first mission and willingness to lead Teammates when the Store Manager is unavailable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in a relevant field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• No visa sponsorship is available.
• Relocation may be required.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle and travel, including overnight as required.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with legendary service and help locate merchandise.
• Lead sales presentations and achieve sales goals set by Store Management.
• Recruit, train and develop Teammates; act as Store Manager in their absence.
• Develop and implement visual displays per Buckle guidelines and maintain store standards.
• Support Store Manager with onboarding, scheduling, and loss prevention duties.

Education

Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent

Retail experience 1–3 months (training included)
