Job summary

Buckle is seeking a Management Trainee to support Buckle’s mission of creating the most enjoyable shopping experience for guests. You will perform sales, merchandising, and operational tasks, work with the Store Manager to develop leadership skills, and potentially act as Store Manager in their absence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university is preferred; or one to three months related retail experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Sales Generation and Guest Service: greet Guests, answer questions, recommend merchandise, create a wardrobe experience, demonstrate product, stay informed on promotions and policies, achieve sales goals.
• Teammate Recruiting, Training and Development: motivate Teammates, coach and counsel, assist in interviewing, recruit for the store, oversee onboarding.
• Operations: flexible schedule, manage opening/closing procedures, inventory management, ensure a clean, organized store.
• Supervisory and Leadership: plan and lead the Team, onboarding paperwork, prepare to be Store Manager, travel to other stores as needed.
