Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company offers a paid Management & Sales Internship that runs for 10–12 weeks in our retail stores, delivering hands-on experience in management, sales, store operations and customer experiences.

Interns travel with a Sales Representative to gain exposure to outside sales, complete a project addressing real business issues, and receive mentorship from leadership. College students gain practical B2B and retail insights.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a college or university at the time of the internship or co-op program.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and professional assistance to customers in-store and over the phone, creating a welcoming environment.
• Maintain product displays and assist customers by recommending items that meet their needs, supporting sales goals.
• Develop product knowledge to answer customer inquiries and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Restock shelves, support inventory management, and contribute to visual merchandising efforts.
• Assist with point-of-sale transactions and store operations.
• Help with unloading deliveries and organizing stockrooms to ensure efficient inventory flow.
• Participate in training sessions and adhere to store policies, safety, HR guidelines, and loss prevention protocols.
• Collaborate with interns on a team-based project addressing a real business challenge or store initiative.
