Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Management & Sales Internship is a paid, 10-12-week summer program offering hands-on experience in our retail stores, providing insight into management, sales, and store operations as well as meaningful customer experiences.

Our store internship program is designed to provide you with a comprehensive learning experience through practical business-to-business and retail experience working in a paint store.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a college or university at the start of the internship.
• Must be at least eighteen years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: assist customers in-store and over the phone with a welcoming approach.
• Sales Support: maintain displays and help customers meet their needs to reach goals.
• Product Knowledge: learn store merchandise to answer questions and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Inventory & Merchandising: restock shelves and support visual merchandising.
• Store Operations: assist with point-of-sale transactions and store maintenance.
• Logistics Support: help with deliveries and organize stockrooms for efficiency.
• Training & Compliance: participate in required trainings and follow policies.
• Team Collaboration: work with interns to complete a team project on a real business challenge.
