Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is offering a paid Management & Sales Internship—a 10-12 week summer program in our retail stores. Interns gain hands-on experience in management, sales, store operations, and customer experiences, including time with a Sales Representative and a management team.

Internship emphasizes practical business-to-business and retail experience, with a team-based project and leadership support to develop skills in sales, marketing, and customer relationship management.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be enrolled in a college or university during the internship.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally.
• Must be able to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional customer service in-store and by phone.
• Assist customers with product selection and meet sales goals.
• Develop strong product knowledge to answer inquiries and check inventory.
• Restock shelves, manage inventory, and support visual merchandising.
• Assist with point-of-sale transactions and store maintenance.
• Help unload deliveries, organize stockrooms, and ensure inventory flow.
• Participate in training sessions and follow store policies and loss prevention rules.
• Collaborate with teammates to resolve customer issues and complete tasks.
• Contribute to a team-based project addressing a real business challenge or store initiative.
