Job summary

Philadelphia Insurance Companies seeks an underwriter to support growth and profitability of the Management and Professional Lines portfolio. You will underwrite, market, and manage a profitable book while strengthening agency relationships and delivering underwriting excellence.

You will develop technical expertise, partner with brokers and internal teams, and pursue continued learning to grow product knowledge and market impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of underwriting experience.
• Experience supporting or managing agency relationships and a profitable book of business is preferred.
• Professional designations such as RPLU, CPCU, ARM, or AU are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio Management & Underwriting: grow a profitable book across D&O, EPL, Fiduciary, Crime, Cyber and other Management Liability lines.
• Agency & Broker Development: build and strengthen relationships with agency partners and drive growth.
• Business Development: execute targeted plans to attract new business and identify prospective accounts.
• Collaboration & Service: work with underwriting, claims, risk management and product teams to deliver excellent service.
