Job summary

Naval Intelligence Activity seeks a candidate with at least one year of specialized experience at GG/GS-13 grade level or pay band in federal service or equivalent private/public sector experience.

The role focuses on developing, analyzing, and evaluating mission requirements in support of the Research and Development Support Activity (RDSA), making technical and non-technical decisions, and presenting briefings.

Job description

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following such as:

• Developing, analyzing, and evaluating mission requirements in direct support of the Research and Development Support Activity (RDSA);
• Making technical and non-technical decisions as required;
• Utilizing verbal and written communication techniques in order to produce finished products, prepare and present briefings and represent the Activity in meetings and conferences; AND
• Interacting with the staff of Combatant Commanders, Numbered Fleets, Type Commanders, Joint Staff, Navy Staff and the Office of Naval Intelligence at the highest levels

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
