*** This is a developmental position with a target grade of GG-12. It may be filled at the GG-07, GG-09, or target GG-12 level. The individual selected for this position may be promoted to the target level without further competition upon meeting any legal and regulatory requirements. ***
This is a GG-07/09 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-07/09 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Entry/Developmental" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-07/09 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the 07/09 grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions.
GG-07/09 EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include a comprehensive knowledge to manage the implementation of knowledge management tools, processes, and procedures to increase production proficiency and better meet customer requirements. This knowledge could be gained by successful completion of advanced courses in production management or experience and skill in applying this knowledge to difficult and complex work assignments; requires knowledge in integrated production concepts, principles, practices, standards, and methods to effectively perform task development, execution, and contract services. Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.

EDUCATION (GG-07): 1 full year of graduate level education or superior academic achievement.
EDUCATION (GG-09): Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related

COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: Combinations of successfully completed post-high school education and experience may be used to meet total qualification requirements for the grade levels specified in the table, and may be computed by first determining the applicant's total qualifying experience as a percentage of the experience required for the grade level; then determining the applicant's education as a percentage of the education required for the grade level; and then adding the two percentages. The total percentages must equal at least 100 percent to qualify an applicant for that grade level. Only graduate education in excess of the amount required for the next lower grade level may be used to qualify applicants for positions at grades GS-9 and GS-11.
