The U.S. Marshals Service Training Division - Glynco, GA is seeking a Management and Program Analyst.

Job description

Training Division - Glynco, GA The selectee of this position serves as a Management and Program Analyst. You will be responsible for conducting studies of operational functions, delegations of authority, and organizational structures; formulating administrative policies; reviewing, evaluating, and preparing reports on program accomplishments; formulating budget strategies; and analyzing existing procedures to identify more efficient methods for accomplishing program objectives.GS-13 TIME IN GRADE REQUIREMENTS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-12 grade level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-13 grade level. (Must submit your SF-50 that shows Time-in-Grade eligibility and reflects your title, series, and grade. No award SF-50 will be accepted).
You may qualify at the GS-0343-13 level, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
Specialized Experience: Must have at least one year (52 weeks) of Specialized Experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the federal service performing the following duties:
1. Assisting management on financial planning and budget formulation;
2. Analyzing operational reports to evaluate program effectiveness;
3. Reviewing existing policies/procedures and recommending changes; AND
4. Compiling narrative reports, briefing materials, and/or formal publications for an organization.
