Job summary

SimonMed is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform screening and diagnostic mammography including tomosynthesis in a fast-paced outpatient setting. You will ensure precise positioning, ideal compression, and high-quality images while addressing patient comfort and anxiety.

Responsibilities include maintaining QA, RIS/PACS workflows, and compliant documentation under MQSA/ACR/HIPAA standards. ARRT (R) and ARRT (M) certifications, state license, BLS, and 15 breast CEUs required.

Qualifications

• ARRT Radiography (R) certification required.
• ARRT Mammography (M) advanced certification required.
• Current state radiologic technologist license where applicable.
• Current BLS certification.
• MQSA compliance with 15 breast CEUs every 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography including tomosynthesis.
• Ensure correct positioning, compression, and exposure parameters per protocol.
• Communicate with patients to ease anxiety and maintain comfort while preserving image quality.
• Maintain documentation, labeling, QA, and compliance with MQSA/ACR/HIPAA.
