Job summary

SimonMed is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to perform screening and diagnostic mammography, including tomosynthesis, with precision and compassion. You will ensure high-quality images, proper compression, and clear patient communication in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

The role emphasizes ARRT (R) and ARRT (M) certification, state licensure, BLS, and MQSA CEUs, with Mentoring responsibilities and commitment to clinical standards.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required.
• ARRT Mammography (M) required.
• Active state radiologic technologist license where applicable.
• Current BLS certification.
• MQSA compliant — 15 breast CEUs every 3 years.
• Tomosynthesis and digital training documentation current.
• Proficiency with RIS and PACS systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography, including tomosynthesis, per ACR/MQSA facility protocols.
• Ensure accurate patient positioning, exposure parameters, compression, and image quality.
• Maintain thorough documentation, image labeling, and QA to stay compliant.
• Manage workflow in a busy outpatient setting and adapt to schedule changes.
• Mentor students and provide hands-on guidance to ensure clinical excellence.
