Job summary

Solis Mammography in Lewisville, TX seeks a PRN Mammography Technologist to operate x-ray equipment and perform diagnostic mammography with a focus on accuracy and patient comfort.

This role supports a patient-focused team in a cohesive, friendly environment. PRN schedule on Mondays and Thursdays with occasional Saturdays, requiring strong technical skills and excellent communication with patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Medical Board license (TMB) and ARRT Mammography certification or eligible.
• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• MQSA/FDA CEU requirements: 15 CEU every 3 years and 200 documented cases every 2 years.
• Experience with ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide services across mammography areas with a patient-first focus.
• Demonstrate excellent mammography positioning and exposure technique.
• Communicate procedures clearly to patients and educate about breast health.
• Effectively communicate with doctors, patients and staff; follow instructions.

The Mammography Technologist operates x-ray equipment and performs a variety of mammography-related diagnostic procedures. Individual must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique.

Here is what you will need:

• Texas Medical Board License - TMB
• Current ARRT in Mammography certification or eligible to take advanced level exam with documentation of clinical experience.
• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology
• Continuing Education: MQSA/FDA- 15 CEU’s every 3 years, 200-documented case numbers every 2 years.
• Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred.

A Day in the Life of a Mammography Technologist:

• Provide services and support for the following areas:

  • Must maintain patient-first focus at all times and exhibit outstanding customer service skills;
  • Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
