Job summary

Solis Mammography is seeking a Mammography Technologist to support screening and diagnostic procedures across Rowlett, Murphy, and Paris Centers. You will operate x-ray equipment, ensure precise positioning, and contribute to a high-quality, patient-focused experience.

The role requires Texas TMB licensure, ARRT Mammography certification (or eligible) with clinical documentation, and completion of a 2-year radiologic technology program. PRN hours apply.

Qualifications

• Texas Medical Board License (TMB) required.
• ARRT Mammography certification or eligibility with clinical experience.
• Completed a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Continued education: MQSA/FDA – 15 CEUs every 3 years; 200 documented cases every 2 years.

Mammography Technologist - PRN

Work Location:

Rowlett, Murphy, and Paris Centers

Work Hours:

Rowlett and Murphy locations 7:00am-4:00pm and Saturdays 7:00am -12:00pm. Paris location 7:30am-4:30pm and Saturdays 8:00am - 12:00pm. (Two Saturdays per month required)

The Mammography Technologist operates x-ray equipment and performs a variety of mammography-related diagnostic procedures. Individual must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique.

Here Is What You Will Need

• Texas Medical Board License - TMB
• Current ARRT in Mammography certification or eligible to take advanced level exam with documentation of clinical experience.
• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology
• Continuing Education: MQSA/FDA- 15 CEU’s every 3 years, 200-documented case numbers every 2 years.
• Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred.

A Day In The Life Of a Mammography Technologist

• Provide services and support for the following areas:
  • Understands, promotes and demonstrates the Solis Way
  • Consistently practices excellent mammography positioning and exposure technique;
  • Ability to effectively communicate to patients the procedures and educate women about the role of regular mammography in preventative breast health;
  • Ability to effectively communicate on an individual and small group basis to doctors, patients, and other employees;
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and sometimes complicated, written or oral instructions;
  • Must maintain patient-first focus at all times and exhibit outstanding customer service skills;
  • Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
