Job summary

Solis Mammography in Prosper, TX is seeking a Mammography Technologist to operate x-ray equipment and perform diagnostic procedures with a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique. This full-time position offers a Sign-On Bonus up to $7,500, relocation assistance for qualified technologists, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k, and PTO.

You will join a Center of Excellence with a supportive team and a strong focus on patient service

Qualifications

• Texas Medical Board License (TMB) required.
• Current ARRT in Mammography certification or eligible with documentation of clinical experience.
• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• MQSA/FDA CEU requirements: 15 CEUs every 3 years, 200 documented cases every 2 years.
• Experience with ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies preferred.

Work Location:

1000 N Preston Rd, Suite 30 Prosper, TX 75078

Work Hours:

Full-Time, Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm (1-2 Saturday shifts required per month)

The Mammography Technologist operates x-ray equipment and performs a variety of mammography-related diagnostic procedures. Individual must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique.

Here is what you will need:

• Texas Medical Board License - TMB


• Current ARRT in Mammography certification or eligible to take advanced level exam with documentation of clinical experience.


• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology


• Continuing Education: MQSA/FDA- 15 CEU’s every 3 years, 200-documented case numbers every 2 years.


• Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred.

  • Ability to effectively communicate to patients the procedures and educate women about the role of regular mammography in preventative breast health;
  
  
  • Ability to effectively communicate on an individual and small group basis to doctors, patients, and other employees;
  
  
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and sometimes complicated, written or oral instructions;
  
  
  • Must maintain patient-first focus at all times and exhibit outstanding customer service skills;
