Job summary

Solis Mammography in Las Colinas, TX is seeking a dedicated Mammography Technologist to operate x-ray equipment and perform diagnostic procedures with a focus on accuracy and patient care. The role requires Texas license and ARRT Mammography certification, and offers a sign-on bonus up to $7,500 and relocation assistance for qualified technologists.

Full-time, Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm with occasional Saturday shifts; PTO and benefits start on day one, and a supportive team environment

Qualifications

• Licensure to practice in Texas required.
• ARRT Mammography certification or eligibility required.
• Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology program.
• MQSA/FDA CEU requirements (15 CEU every 3 years).
• Experience with ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate x-ray equipment for mammography and related diagnostic procedures.
• Maintain high accuracy in positioning and exposure technique.
• Educate patients about the importance of regular mammography in breast health.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure excellent patient care and service.

Work Location: Las Colinas, TX

Work Hours: Full-Time, Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm (Two Saturdays per month required 7:30am-1:00pm)

The Mammography Technologist operates x-ray equipment and performs a variety of mammography-related diagnostic procedures. Individual must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique.

Here Is What You Will Need

• Texas Medical Board License - TMB
• Current ARRT in Mammography certification or eligible to take advanced level exam with documentation of clinical experience.
• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology
• Continuing Education: MQSA/FDA- 15 CEU’s every 3 years, 200-documented case numbers every 2 years.
• Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred.

A Day In The Life Of a Mammography Technologist

• Provide services and support for the following areas:
• Understands, promotes and demonstrates the Solis Way
• Consistently practices excellent mammography positioning and exposure technique;
• Ability to effectively communicate to patients the procedures and educate women about the role of regular mammography in preventative breast health;
• Ability to effectively communicate on an individual and small group basis to doctors, patients, and other employees;
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and sometimes complicated, written or oral instructions;
• Must maintain patient-first focus at all times and exhibit outstanding customer service skills;
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
