Job summary

Solis Mammography in Arlington, Texas is seeking a PRN Mammography Technologist. The successful candidate will operate mammography equipment and perform diagnostic procedures with a strong emphasis on accurate positioning and patient comfort.

Applicants must hold a Texas Medical Board license and ARRT Mammography certification or be eligible, with two-year radiologic technology training. Prior ultrasound or stereotactic biopsy experience is a plus, and flexible hours are available.

Qualifications

• Texas Medical Board license (TMB) required.
• Current ARRT in Mammography certification or eligible for advanced level exam with documented clinical experience.
• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• MQSA/FDA continuing education: 15 CEUs every 3 years; 200 documented cases every 2 years.
• Experience with ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate x-ray equipment and perform mammography procedures with high positioning accuracy.
• Communicate procedures clearly to patients and educate on the importance of screening.
• Maintain patient-first focus and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Collaborate with doctors and staff to ensure quality care and workflow.

Mammography Technologist PRN

Work Location: Arlington, TX

Work Hours: PRN/As Needed hours will vary between Monday-Friday 6:15am-5:00pm (One Saturday Shift per Month Required)

The Mammography Technologist operates x-ray equipment and performs a variety of mammography-related diagnostic procedures. Individual must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique.

Here Is What You Will Need

• Texas Medical Board License - TMB

• Provide services and support for the following areas:

• Ability to effectively communicate to patients the procedures and educate women about the role of regular mammography in preventative breast health;
• Ability to effectively communicate on an individual and small group basis to doctors, patients, and other employees;
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and sometimes complicated, written or oral instructions;
• Must maintain patient-first focus at all times and exhibit outstanding customer service skills;
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
