Job summary

Solis Mammography in Houston, TX is seeking a PRN Mammography Technologist to perform diagnostic mammography and related procedures with high accuracy in positioning and exposure.

Ideal candidates hold Texas Medical Board License and ARRT Mammography certification, have completed a two-year radiologic technology program, and maintain MQSA/FDA CEU requirements. Some travel to other Houston centers may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have Texas Medical Board License (TMB).
• ARRT Mammography certification or eligible with documentation of clinical experience.
• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• MQSA/FDA CEU requirements: 15 CEU’s every 3 years, 200 documented cases every 2 years.
• Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide mammography services and support diagnostic procedures.
• Maintain high accuracy in positioning and exposure technique.
• Communicate procedures to patients and educate on the role of regular mammography.
• Collaborate with doctors and staff to ensure quality patient care.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Mammography Technologist PRN

Work Location: 8731 Katy Fwy Suite 100 Houston, TX 77024

Work Hours: PRN/As Needed Monday-Friday between 8:00am-5:00pm and occasional Saturdays required

(May travel to provide additional coverage at other Houston area centers)

The Mammography Technologist operates x-ray equipment and performs a variety of mammography-related diagnostic procedures. Individual must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique.

Here Is What You Will Need

• Must maintain patient-first focus at all times and exhibit outstanding customer service skills;
