Job summary

Solis Mammography is seeking a Mammography Technologist for PRN shifts in the Houston area. You will operate mammography equipment, ensure accurate positioning and imaging, and educate patients on the importance of regular breast screening.

The role requires active TMB licensure, ARRT Mammography certification (or eligible), and completion of a two-year radiologic technology program. Prior biopsy imaging experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Texas Medical Board License (TMB) required.
• ARRT Mammography certification or eligibility with clinical experience.
• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• MQSA/FDA CEU: 15 CEUs every 3 years; 200 cases every 2 years.

Responsibilities

Mammography Technologist PRN

Work Hours:PRN/As Needed Monday-Friday between 8:00am-5:00pm and occasional Saturdays required

(May travel to provide additional coverage at other Houston area centers)

The Mammography Technologist operates x-ray equipment and performs a variety of mammography-related diagnostic procedures. Individual must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique.

Here is what you will need:

• Texas Medical Board License - TMB
• Current ARRT in Mammography certification or eligible to take advanced level exam with documentation of clinical experience.
• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology
• Continuing Education: MQSA/FDA - 15 CEU’s every 3 years, 200-documented case numbers every 2 years.
• Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred.

• Must maintain patient-first focus at all times and exhibit outstanding customer service skills;
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
