Job summary

Solis Mammography in Plano, TX is seeking a Mammography Technologist for PRN/As Needed coverage during normal business hours. The role requires precise positioning, exposure techniques, and patient-centered care to support breast imaging services.

The ideal candidate will hold a Texas Medical Board license and ARRT Mammography certification or be eligible, with completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Qualifications

• Texas Medical Board License (TMB) is required.
• Current ARRT in Mammography certification or eligible to take advanced level exam with documented clinical experience.
• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology program.
• Continuing Education: MQSA/FDA- 15 CEU's every 3 years, 200 documented cases every 2 years.
• Experience with diagnostic breast procedures preferred (e.g., ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies).

Responsibilities

• Provide mammography services with precise positioning and exposure.
• Communicate procedures clearly to patients and educate about breast health.

Mammography Technologist PRN

Work Location: 3801 W 15th St, Building B, Suite 150A Plano, TX 75075

Work Hours: PRN/As Needed during normal business operating hours Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:30pm and occasional Saturdays

The Mammography Technologist operates x-ray equipment and performs a variety of mammography-related diagnostic procedures. Individual must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique.

Here is what you will need:

• Texas Medical Board License - TMB

• Ability to effectively communicate to patients the procedures and educate women about the role of regular mammography in preventative breast health;
• Ability to effectively communicate on an individual and small group basis to doctors, patients, and other employees;
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and sometimes complicated, written or oral instructions;
• Must maintain patient-first focus at all times and exhibit outstanding customer service skills;
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
