Job summary

Solis Mammography in Houston, TX is seeking a Mammography Technologist to join our patient-focused team. The role requires accurate positioning and exposure techniques to deliver high-quality mammography studies.

You'll work full-time at the Tomball and Vintage Park centers, with a 7:00 am to 4:30 pm schedule and occasional Saturdays. We offer a sign-on bonus up to $7,500, relocation assistance, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Texas Medical Board License (TMB) required.
• Current ARRT in Mammography or eligible for exam with clinical experience.
• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• MQSA/FDA CEU: 15 CEU every 3 years; 200 documented cases every 2 years.
• Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasounds and stereotactic biopsies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide mammography services with accurate positioning and exposure.

• Explain procedures to patients and educate on breast health.
• Communicate effectively with doctors, patients, and other staff.

Work Location: 20326 Tomball Pkwy, Suite 225 Houston, TX 77070. Provides coverage at Vintage Park and Tomball centers.

Work Hours: (Full-Time)7:00am- 4:30pm, including occasional Saturdays.

The Mammography Technologist operates x-ray equipment and performs a variety of mammography-related diagnostic procedures. Individual must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique.

Here is what you will need:

A Day in the Life of a Mammography Technologist:

• Provide services and support for the following areas:
• Understands, promotes and demonstrates the Solis Way
• Consistently practices excellent mammography positioning and exposure technique;
• Ability to effectively communicate to patients the procedures and educate women about the role of regular mammography in preventative breast health;
• Ability to effectively communicate on an individual and small group basis to doctors, patients, and other employees;
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and sometimes complicated, written or oral instructions;
• Must maintain patient-first focus at all times and exhibit outstanding customer service skills;
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
