Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform specialized breast imaging procedures and ensure high-quality exams for patient care. You will operate mammographic equipment and related devices, maintaining safety and image quality under established protocols.

Eligible candidates have AMA/JRCERT education, ARRT/Radiography and Mammography credentials upon hire, and BCLS. No experience is required, though 1 year in Mammography is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program required.
• No experience required; 1 year experience as a Mammography Technologist preferred.
• Licensure/certification: ARRT or ARDMS Mammography, ARRT Radiography upon hire; BCLS upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized mammography examinations to aid diagnosis and treatment of breast disease.
• Operate mammographic radiographic equipment and related devices as appropriate.

Education

Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program

Responsibilities:

The Mammography Technologist performs specialized examinations of the breast to help in the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in patients. The Mammography Technologist performs a variety of tasks involving the operation of mammographic radiographic equipment and other equipment/devices as appropriate.
