Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform specialized breast imaging and support accurate diagnosis.

You will operate mammographic equipment, maintain quality control, and ensure patient comfort while meeting safety standards. ARRT registrations and BCLS are required, with teamwork in radiology essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited training.
• No experience required; 1 year experience preferred.
• ARRT Radiographer registration upon hire and ARRT Mammography registration upon hire.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized breast imaging using mammographic radiographic equipment.
• Assist in diagnosis and treatment planning through quality breast imaging and patient care.

Responsibilities

The Mammography Technologist performs specialized examinations of the breast to help in the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in patients. The Mammography Technologist performs a variety of tasks involving the operation of mammographic radiographic equipment and other equipment/devices as appropriate.

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program Required

• 1 year experience as a Mammography Technologist Preferred
