Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital in Athens, GA is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform specialized breast imaging and support diagnostic care for patients.

You will operate mammographic equipment, ensure quality imaging, and coordinate with radiologists in a fast-paced clinical setting. Qualifications include AMA approved Radiologic Technology education, ARRT/ARDMS credentials, and BCLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training.
• No experience required; 1 year experience preferred.
• ARDMS or ARRT Radiographer Registration upon Hire.
• Mammography ARRT Registration upon Hire.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support (Upon Hire)

Responsibilities

• Operate mammographic radiographic equipment and other devices as appropriate.
• Perform specialized breast imaging to aid in diagnosis and treatment.
• Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate image quality and patient care.

Education

AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training

Responsibilities

The Mammography Technologist performs specialized examinations of the breast to help in the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in patients. The Mammography Technologist performs a variety of tasks involving the operation of mammographic radiographic equipment and other equipment/devices as appropriate.
