Formación

• High school diploma required; culinary or Apprenticeship program preferred.
• Five or more years cooking experience required.
• 3-5 years of recent experience relevant to this position.
• Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of weights, measurements, volume and cooking procedures.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares all types of sushi, including maki, nigiri and sashimi for guests.
• Prepare appetizers, soups and salads aligned with Japanese cuisine.
• Knows various sushi types and rolling techniques.
• Monitors proper storage of products, rotates stock and maintains quality.
• Prepares daily requisitions for supplies and food items.
• Reads and uses math to follow recipes.
