Job summary

Punch Tech in Decatur, GA is seeking a Make Ready Technician to prepare vacant units for leasing and move-ins. You will perform general maintenance, painting, drywall repair, and respond to work orders while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires at least one year of make-ready experience, strong communication and customer service skills, and the ability to work on-call including weekends and after hours. A high school diploma or GED is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete the make-ready process to prepare vacant units for leasing and new move-ins by completing the pre-move-out inspection, creating a punch list of maintenance work needed.
• Assist in make-ready process by painting vacant units and making drywall repairs, patching holes, and sanding when needed.
• Respond to resident/ management work orders for occupied and vacant rental units as well as routine upkeep on the community.
• Perform tasks and operate machinery in a safe manner and in compliance with safety procedures.
• Assist in maintaining the grounds, common areas, and amenities by picking up trash and debris, pressure washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Assist in maintenance inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Work on-call as scheduled 24/7, weekend shifts, and overtime as necessary and pre-approved by the Service Manager.
• Perform other duties as requested to support community operations.
• May be required to support other communities within the organization.
