Job summary

Essential Staffing Solutions is seeking dependable Apartment Make Ready/Punch Technicians to prepare vacant units for new residents, perform minor repairs, touch-ups, and general maintenance. You will work with the maintenance team to ensure high quality and timely turnover.

Responsibilities include inspecting units, painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry tasks, and coordinating with property management. Must have own tools and pass background check; 1-2 years experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have your own tools.
• 1-2 years of previous experience in maintenance, construction, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of general maintenance and repair techniques.
• Ability to perform basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor.
• Knowledge of the English language.
• Must be able to successfully pass a background check

Responsibilities

• Inspect vacant units and identify repairs or improvements.
• Perform maintenance tasks including painting, drywall repair, plumbing, electrical work, and appliance installation.
• Ensure units are cleaned, functioning, and ready for occupancy.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team and property management to address issues promptly.
• Maintain a high standard of quality and attention to detail in all tasks.
• Assist with other property maintenance duties as needed.
