Job summary

Paycom in Georgia is seeking a Make Ready Technician to prepare vacant apartments for new residents, performing repairs and make-ready tasks within timelines and budgets.

The role collaborates with the Regional Maintenance Manager and Community Manager to prioritize units, communicate progress, and ensure units are safe, functional, and ready for occupancy. Daily duties include inspections, basic plumbing/electrical/carpentry work, and documenting work and materials used.

Qualifications

Three years of maintenance experience relevant to repairs and troubleshooting.
General maintenance skills include appliance repair, light carpentry, plumbing and electrical work, drywall and painting.
Ability to analyze and troubleshoot issues and repairs.
Solid knowledge of Fair Housing Laws, including required training.
Eager to learn new skills and participate in trainings.

Responsibilities

Inspect vacant units and perform make-ready repairs to ensure safety and occupancy readiness.
Carry out basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall and painting tasks, appliances, fixtures, doors and windows.
Test systems and appliances and document work and materials used.
Order supplies and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas.
Assist with general property maintenance and follow-up inspections.
