Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to turn around vacant apartment homes to market-ready condition. You will perform repairs, caulking, sheetrock work, and painting, ensuring units meet company standards for occupancy.

You’ll also help maintain grounds and facilities, manage supplies efficiently, follow safety policies, and deliver responsive resident service with urgency and care.

Responsibilities

• Complete repairs and improvements to apartment homes prior to move-in following the community make-ready checklist.
• Ensure caulking and sealing around windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and showers is proper.
• Inspect sheetrock for damage and repair or replace as needed.
• Perform touch-up painting for vacant and occupied units as directed by supervision.
• Assist in grounds and common area maintenance; clean, pressure-wash and paint where required.
• Support cost-control by repairing parts rather than replacing when feasible and using materials efficiently.
• Finish make-ready checks and maintenance documentation promptly as required.
• Follow Greystar safety policies and complete OSHA training; report accidents promptly.
• Provide courteous resident service, answer questions, address maintenance concerns, and complete work orders efficiently.
