Job summary

Impact Communities in Cheyenne, WY is seeking a Maintenance Tech to perform repairs, upkeep, and make-ready tasks across properties. The role requires hands-on carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and a commitment to safety and quality.

You will inspect units, coordinate with the maintenance supervisor, manage supplies, and ensure homes are ready for occupancy while meeting deadlines and company standards.

Qualifications

• Regular attendance and dependability are required.
• General carpentry skills and safety experience.
• Valid driver's license may be required.
• Basic computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect interior units prior to repairs, including walls, appliances, electrical, plumbing, windows/doors and filters.
• Perform repairs and upkeep on vacant units to company standards; complete required paperwork and submit to Maintenance Supervisor.
• Use independent judgment to determine actions, priorities and emergencies.
• Maintain and secure all property-issued tools.
• Make ready duties: walk units, coordinate with managers, ensure occupancy readiness.
• Safety: identify hazards and report to Property Manager/Supervisor.
