Job summary

Edward Rose & Sons is hiring a Make Ready Maintenance Technician for our on-site team at Old Monterey Apartments in Springfield, MO. Responsibilities include turning vacant units to market-ready condition, drywall and painting, repairs, and some carpentry work to ensure timely move-ins.

The role requires experience in building maintenance or related trades, a valid driver's license, own tools, and good communication with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, appliance repair, and HVAC preferred.
• HVAC Certification or experience is preferred but training can be provided.
• Must possess own tools and maintain a professional appearance.
• Able to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn software and apps.

Responsibilities

• Ensure vacant apartment homes are restored to market-ready status.
• Complete full vacant turn processes to meet move-in deadlines, including drywall repairs, painting, caulking and grouting.
• Repair or replace appliances, faucets, garbage disposals, entry locks, windows; carpentry and ceramic tile work.
• Complete administrative paperwork as necessary.
• Assist with snow and ice removal as required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
