Job summary

Hawksmoor New York is seeking a Maître d’ to deliver exceptional guest experiences from first contact to seating and beyond. Reporting to the Reservations Manager, you will oversee reservation management and guest communications while serving as the face of the dining room.

This role requires at least 2 years in customer-facing hospitality, finesse with OpenTable/SevenRooms, and the ability to lead front-of-house operations with warmth and professionalism during evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a customer-facing hospitality role.
• Experience with upscale dining is preferred.
• Excellent communication and poise under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manage reservations via phone, email, walk-ins, and online platforms.
• Greet guests and assign seats to optimize flow and capacity.
