Dayton Freight Lines is seeking a Maintenance Trainer to ensure high levels of educated and trained mechanics. Responsibilities include developing training procedures and hands-on education across shops, managing OEM software programs, and facilitating internships.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be legally eligible to work in the U.S., and be knowledgeable about the Maintenance industry. The role offers a competitive pay of $90,000 per year along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Maintain up to date knowledge and training in the Maintenance industry.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience training others.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Continuously attend training sessions and classes to stay current.
• Develop best practice procedures for major repairs.
• Educate and train mechanics on new trucks and components.
• Travel frequently to visit all shops for hands-on training.
• Manage and update necessary OEM software programs.
• Develop and maintain training on the Learning Management System.
