Job summary

Atria Senior Living seeks a Maintenance Technician to support our communities in Michigan. The role involves diagnosing and repairing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and other systems, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring vacant units are rent-ready.

You will respond to resident requests, maintain safety standards, and help organize maintenance tasks. A high school diploma and a valid driver’s license are required, with opportunities for advancement within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year experience in property management maintenance.
• Must possess valid driver’s license and be able to drive company/personal vehicle.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry and safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair problems in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, emergency systems, flooring and other maintenance areas.
• Complete assigned service requests and repairs in a safe and timely manner.
• Perform turn-key work to ensure vacant apartment homes are rent-ready.
• Maintain customer service standards and respond to resident requests to resolve issues.
