Job summary

Atria Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team in a property management setting in California. You will diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry issues, perform routine preventive maintenance, and respond to resident requests to maintain a high standard of living.

A valid driver’s license is required, and equipment operation supports a safe, well-maintained community.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year experience in property management maintenance or related field.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic for estimating, averages, percentages.
• Ability to operate general office equipment.
• Experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing repairs preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license and be able to drive company or personal vehicle.
• Ability to diagnose and repair systems across multiple trades including carpentry, flooring, and water features.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, and related systems.
• Complete assigned service requests and repairs in a safe, timely manner.
• Perform turn-key work to ensure vacant apartment homes are rent-ready.
• Maintain customer service standards and respond to resident requests to resolve issues.
• Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• May supervise on-site staff or contractors and assist with other duties as assigned.
