Job summary

RangeWater Residential, LLC seeks a Maintenance Technician to service multifamily properties. You will perform repairs, make-readies, and routine maintenance to ensure safety, cleanliness, and functionality for residents and communal spaces.

The role requires 1–3 years of apartment maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, EPA certifications, and proficiency with Entrata, Yardi or OneSite. Weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience: 1–3 years in apartment maintenance preferred.
• Licenses: EPA Type I and II or Universal for refrigerant handling.
• Driver's license required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient in property management software (Entrata/Yardi/One Site).

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests within 24–48 hours and perform routine upkeep.
• Complete the make-ready process for vacant apartments and prepare for new move-ins.
• Support cost-cutting by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.
• Track inventory, materials, and re-order needs; return unused items to the shop.
• Document all work orders and service requests promptly and accurately.
• Periodically inspect contractor work to verify quality and compliance.
• Follow RangeWater safety policies and attend safety trainings.
• Interact professionally with residents and team members to address concerns.
• Assist in routine property inspections to identify safety risks.
