Job summary

Greystar is hiring a Maintenance Technician to support Northhaven in Sanford, FL. The role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining building systems to meet safety and quality standards. You will handle make-ready processes, inventory, and on-site upkeep, with on-call requirements.

Expect to work Monday–Friday with rotating on-call shifts and operate within OSHA guidelines. EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver’s license are required, with benefits and a strong support

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.
• All certifications as required by state and local jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and repairing per safety standards.
• Performs make-ready tasks to prepare vacants for leasing, including inspections, punch lists, and scheduling.
• Manages materials and inventory, restocking as needed and notifying supervisor for re-orders.
• Documents service requests promptly and accurately for tracking.
• Maintains grounds and common areas and supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing where feasible.
• May inspect contractors' work to ensure quality and compliance with specs.
