Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to ensure building components meet safety and quality standards. You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and handle make-ready tasks for vacant units while following company policies and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, maintaining inventory, documenting work, and assisting with grounds maintenance. A valid driver’s license and refrigerant recycling certifications are required, with benefits and

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.
• Certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders and preventative maintenance per policies and codes.
• Execute make-ready process to prepare vacant homes for leasing including inspection and punch lists.
• Access and manage materials, supplies, and tools from maintenance department and report re-orders.
• Complete documentation and paperwork to track service requests accurately.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; perform cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-cutting by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using tools correctly.
