Job summary

RangeWater Real Estate is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our apartment communities clean, safe, and fully functional. You will handle work orders, routine upkeep, and assist with make-ready tasks to prepare homes for new residents.

Strong communication, reliability, and a valid driver’s license are essential. Proficiency with basic maintenance tools, and familiarity with property management software (Entrata or Yardi) helps you succeed.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Experience Preferred: 1-3 years of apartment maintenance experience or equivalent preferred.
• Licenses: EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling as well as all certifications required by State and Local jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests within 24 to 48 hours.
• Makes make-ready preparations for vacant apartments and coordinates with vendors.
• Fixes rather than replaces parts when possible to control costs.
• Maintains inventory and documents work orders for reporting.
• Inspects and ensures safety and quality in common areas and units.
