Job summary

Greystar seeks a Service Technician for Strawberry Hill in Charlotte, NC. You will perform maintenance and preventative tasks to ensure buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet safety and quality standards.

You will handle work orders, make-ready tasks for new move-ins, manage supplies, document work, assist with grounds upkeep, and participate in safety training. On-call rotations and guest experience are essential.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 & II or Universal refrigerant recycling certifications are required.
• State and local certifications as required by the property.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs per policies and codes.
• Performs the make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections, punch lists, scheduling, and ensuring ready-to-lease condition.
• Tracks materials, returns unused items, and notifies supervisor for re-orders.
• Documents work performed to enable proper tracking of requests.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; cleans and paints as needed.
• Supports cost-saving by repairing rather than replacing when feasible.

Education

EPA certifications Type 1 & II or Universal for refrigerant recycling
