Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical aspects of buildings meet safety and appearance standards. You will handle work orders, perform preventative maintenance, and assist with common areas and grounds. Hours and shifts may vary based on property needs.

Responsibilities include coordinating with vendors, inspecting completed work, and documenting tasks promptly. This onsite role requires safety-minded individuals with strong problem-solving skills and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience performing maintenance tasks per safety standards.
• Ability to diagnose issues and make repairs per code requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident service requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Prepare vacants for leasing by completing pre-move-out inspections and creating punch lists.
• Track inventory, obtain materials, and notify supervisor to re-order supplies.
• Document service requests accurately for record-keeping and tracking.
• Assist in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities; perform cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-control by using parts wisely and following safety policies.
