Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to address apartment and property maintenance tasks and uphold exceptional customer service and curb appeal at the assigned property.

You'll perform repairs to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry, maintain safety standards, respond to emergencies, and support a positive resident experience through timely, professional service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of experience in property management or related field.
• General maintenance and carpentry skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs across electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds.
• Carpentry tasks: wall repairs, countertop/cabinet replacement, finish carpentry, window/glass repair, door/lock repair.
• Proactive maintenance: siding, painting, lighting, sprinkler, pool, elevator, and more.
• Maintain work order system and ensure timely completion to standards and resident satisfaction.
• Inspect property grounds, buildings, and common areas for safety and cleanliness; identify issues needing maintenance or replacement.
• Assist with property emergencies and respond to incidents per guidelines.
• Promote safety and risk management per local, state, and company rules.
