Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical work ensuring building systems and common areas meet standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, making-ready vacant homes, inventory control, documentation, and supporting safety and cost-control programs. EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver’s license are required.

This on-site role offers benefits within a large global real estate platform.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose defects and perform repairs per safety and code standards.
• Complete the make-readies process for vacant homes and coordinate vendors.
• Track inventory, manage materials, and notify re-order needs.
• Document service requests accurately for tracking.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; clean and paint as needed.
• Support cost-saving by repairing rather than replacing parts.

Education

EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling
