Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical factors of property meet Greystar’s standards for safety, cleanliness, and functionality. You will diagnose and repair building systems, complete preventative maintenance, and prepare units for new residents while responsibly managing supplies and documenting work orders.

Responsibilities include coordinating make-ready tasks, inspecting work, and assisting with grounds, cleaning, and painting as needed.

Qualifications

• Essential responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing building systems per policies and codes.
• Prepare vacant homes for leasing, complete pre-move-out inspections, and coordinate punch lists.
• Track inventory, obtain supplies, and return unused items to the proper location.
• Document service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintain grounds, amenities, and perform cleaning and painting tasks as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders and preventative maintenance per safety standards and code requirements.
• Transforms vacant apartments to move-in ready by inspections and coordinating vendors.
• Maintains inventory and notifies supervisor when re-ordering is needed.
• Completes paperwork to document service requests and tasks performed.
• Assists in maintaining grounds, pool areas, and signage; performs painting tasks.
