Job summary

The Maintenance Team Member position at Cardinal Group in Johnson City, TN, is a full-time, non-exempt role focused on protecting, maintaining, and enhancing the value of our communities while maximizing residents' living experience.

You will respond to work orders, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure safety and compliance across facilities, pools, and equipment, including after-hours on-call support.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant maintenance experience.
• Excellent customer service and attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of pool service and maintenance.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs and stand 8-12 hours.
• Must be able to work weekends and be available for on call emergencies.
• Ability to embody the Cardinal Culture and Cardinal Core Values every day.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the facility and grounds based on community objectives.
• Follows practices for safe operation, maintenance and repair of all facility equipment, including OSHA programs.
• Responds to work orders in a timely manner, including after hours on-call maintenance.
• Inspects public areas and resident apartments to ensure maintenance standards.
• Follows EPA air conditioning and refrigeration procedures and record keeping.
• Maintains pools/spas water chemistry and sanitation procedures.
• Keeps storage areas, tools, and equipment secure.
• Participates in Cardinal U training as required.
