Job summary

Cardinal Group Companies in College Station, TX is seeking a Maintenance Team Member to protect, maintain, and enhance the value of our community while ensuring residents have a high-quality living experience.

You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to work orders (including after-hours), and comply with safety guidelines and EPA/HVAC regulations. Weekend shifts and on-call availability are required to support property operations.

Qualifications

3-5 years of relevant maintenance experience.
Excellent customer service skills, attention to detail.
Working knowledge of pool service and maintenance.
High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
Must lift a minimum of 75 lbs and work 8-12 hour standing shifts.
Must be able to work weekends and be available for on call emergencies.

Responsibilities

Maintains the facility and grounds based on community objectives.
Follows practices for safe operation, maintenance and repair of all facility equipment and OSHA requirements.
Responds to work orders in a timely manner, including after hours on-call maintenance requests.
Assists with inspection of public areas and resident apartments to ensure maintenance standards.
Follows air conditioning and refrigeration record keeping requirements and procedures.
Follows health department, city, state, and federal procedures for pools and spas are followed to maintain water chemistry and sanitation.
Keeps storage areas, tools, and equipment secure at all times.
Participates in Cardinal U training as required.
