Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Service Technician to perform maintenance on apartment properties in the Atlanta area. The role requires diagnosing defects, completing work orders, and conducting make-ready tasks for vacant units.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• State and Local jurisdiction certifications as required for all Service Technicians.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs per policies and codes.
• Performs make-ready process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch lists, scheduling vendors, and ensuring tasks are completed.
• Tracks inventory, handles tools and materials, and notifies supervisor for re-ordering.
• Documents service requests accurately to facilitate tracking and reporting.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities through cleaning and minor repairs.
• Supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts and using materials efficiently.
• Complies with safety policies by attending training and reporting incidents promptly.
• May inspect work by contractors and assist in property inspections for safety and repair needs.
