Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical maintenance across the property, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and functionality of buildings and common areas. The role requires diagnosing defects, completing work orders, and ensuring preventive maintenance is performed to meet company standards.

Hourly range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00, with potential bonuses based on performance. Requires EPA refrigerant certifications (Type 1/II or Universal) and valid driver's license

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certification (Type 1 & II or Universal) required.
• State and local jurisdiction certifications as required for all service technicians.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders and preventative maintenance for the property per safety and code requirements.
• Complete the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing, including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Access materials from the maintenance department and track inventory; notify re-ordering needs.
• Document all service requests timely and accurately for tracking.
• Assist in grounds and common areas maintenance and perform general cleaning as needed.
• Support cost-cutting by repairing rather than replacing parts where feasible.

Education

EPA Type 1 & II or Universal refrigerant certifications

State & local certifications as required

Valid driver’s license to operate golf cart
