Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain buildings, grounds, and common areas to meet safety and quality standards. The role involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and completing make-ready tasks to prepare units for lease.

Responsibilities include documenting work orders, managing inventories, and supporting cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts. EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Perform maintenance and make-ready tasks for vacant homes and common areas.
• Diagnose defects, repair or replace components per policy and safety rules.
• Document work orders promptly and accurately for tracking.
• Follow inventory procedures and use tools efficiently to fix items.
• Assist in grounds maintenance and general cleaning as needed.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Prepare units for leasing by inspecting and finishing punch lists.
• Access materials and return unused items, notifying on re-orders.
• Maintain documentation for service requests and inspections.
• Support cost-saving by repairing rather than replacing parts.
