Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring building areas meet company standards for safety, cleanliness, and function.

The role includes completing work orders, making-ready vacant units, inventory control, and site upkeep, with responsibilities expanding to safety compliance and documentation. EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant recycling certification.
• State and Local jurisdiction certifications as required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders and preventative maintenance on the property by diagnosing defects and performing repairs per policy and safety guidelines.
• Complete the “make-ready” process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing, including pre-move-out inspection, punch list creation, scheduling vendors, and inspecting work.
• Access and obtain materials from the maintenance department, tracking inventory and notifying supervision for re-ordering.
• Complete documentation and paperwork for service requests to ensure proper recording and tracking.
• Assist in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning, painting curbs/signage, and debris removal.
• Support cost-cutting by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using tools correctly.
